	The Social Responsibility Department, including its programs for disaster relief, emergency assistance, Foster Grandparents, temporary housing and shelter, Migration and Refugee Services, prison ministries, Senior Employment, and advocacy for persons with disabilities.
	Since the hurricanes of 2005, special Disaster Relief and Recovery Programming assists families affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita with services including mental health counseling, case management to develop family recovery plans, and emergency assistance. This effort also coordinates disaster preparedness and response policies for the Diocese of Baton Rouge.
