Bishop Duca, in consultation with the Clergy Personnel Board, announces the following appointments for the Diocese of Baton Rouge. In addition to new assignments, he also recognizes those who are retiring or have requested leaves of absence.

Since the dawn of Christianity pilgrims have prayerfully retraced the steps of Jesus’ path to Calvary. Following in their footsteps, we experience the Stations of the Cross discovered uniquely in our local churches, as we seek to encounter our Lord while meditating on His most Holy Passion.

Bishop Duca has released a letter with a renewed call to observe safe procedures in this time of pandemic. It will be presented at all Masses the weekend of the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time.
