9:30 a.m. - Eucharistic Procession Begins
The procession will begin at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and go to St. Joseph Cathedral.
10:20 a.m. - Bishop Duca Addresses Diocesan Pilgrims & Eucharistic Adoration

On the weekend of May 18-19 — Pentecost weekend — pilgrimages for the National Eucharistic Revival will begin at four different points around the country and start making their way to Indianapolis, the site of the National Eucharistic Congress in July.

Thousands of pilgrims will be attending the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage from May 19 - July 17, 2024.
Each pilgrimage route (there are four) will have
The Perpetual Pilgrims will arrive in Baton Rouge during the night of June 6th. All public events for the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will be taking place on June 7th, ending at 4 p.m.
The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage Team and Diocesan Eucharistic Revival Committee will both be monitoring the weather to ensure the safety of all pilgrims in attendance. The pilgrims will not process outdoors if temperatures reach extreme levels or if it is storming.
A light rain shower will not stop the Eucharistic Procession from taking place outside. Please bring a rain jacket if the forecast is predicting light rain.
